Thanks to our friends at Cheltenham Borough Council and Cheltenham Borough Homes we'll be holding our first ever Picnic in the Park at Pittville Park Cheltenham on Sunday 12th May 2019.

Dog Show

There will be a selection of stall holders joining us, ranging from local businesses to some of Gloucestershire's LGBTQ+ organisations. Stallholders include the Cheltenham LGBT+ Partnership, Gloucestershire Police, Little Bear Bakery, Muffinpug Rescue, The Barnwood Trust. Eddystone Trust, Lesbi Friends amongst many other

Food & Beverages

There will be plenty of food and beverage options available on site on the day.

This includes a licensed bar with a wide range of drinks including Gin and Prosecco!

We've made sure that our vegetarian and vegan friends are catered for too!

Children's Rides

Sponsored by the folks at Thirlestaine Park Care Home we are delighted to say that we will be holding our first ever dog show at this years Picnic in the Park. 

We'll be joined by the staff and residents of Thirlestaine Park as they judge your pooches in the following categories:

- Best Dressed

- Waggiest Tail

- Biggest Diva 

- Dog That Looks Most Like its Owner

Best Puppy (under 1yr)

- Best Veteran (over 6yrs)

- Best Rescue Dog

Best Child and Pet 

The winning dog from each class when then be entered into the Best in Show class.

There is an entry fee of £1 per dog per class

You can enter the dog show by visiting the Information and Merchandise stand on the day.

Danters Funfairs will also be at the event with chilcren's rides and inflatables.

Travel Information

Gloucestershire has a fantastic bus network. If you are travelling from within the County you can easily make your way to Pittville Park via public transport on the day.

Information and Merchandise Stand

Members of Pride in Gloucestershire's committee will be on hand to answer any questions or queries that you may have on the day. You'll be able to find them at the Information and Merchandise stand.

We are very pleased to say that there will be a mobiloo on site. Mobiloo is a fully accessible toilet and changing room equiped with a hoist.

You will however need to bring your own sling.
