About Pride in Gloucestershire

Pride in Gloucestershire is a beacon of celebration and advocacy for our county's LGBTQ+ community. Through various events, including our annual Pride celebration, we aim to connect, uplift, and inspire. Our mission is to combat homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia and continuously push for progress, acceptance, and inclusivity for our community.

We are a registered charity in England and Wales (Registered Number: 1185201).

Our Mission

Driven by our passion for equality and diversity, we envision a society where all LGBTQ+ individuals can realise their full potential. We endeavour to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, providing resources, education, and entertainment in a nurturing environment.

Our Initiatives

We organise a variety of fundraising and social events throughout Gloucestershire, offering a safe and welcoming space for community connection and learning.

Our main event, the annual Pride Day, is at Gloucester Park. However, our commitment to inclusivity goes beyond urban boundaries. Each year, we take Pride on a county-wide tour, reaching out to rural areas of Gloucestershire. This initiative is essential in dismantling barriers and connecting with potentially isolated community members.

In the past, we've been honoured to collaborate with numerous organisations that share our vision. We've joined forces with The LGBT Partnership Cheltenham and The Eddystone Trust. These collaborations enrich our events and help us create a more inclusive and diverse environment for our community.
