Gloucestershire's LGBTQ+ Inclusion & Diversity for Employers

In recent years, more employers across the county have sought guidance on supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues, sharing best practices, and fostering inclusivity. Demonstrating strong ESG principles is now crucial, not only for recruiting and retaining staff but also to show stakeholders a commitment to the wider community.


During Pride Week 2023, we hosted a networking breakfast for employers, bringing together companies representing over 10,000 employees across the county. This event sparked important conversations about improving LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace. From these discussions, the idea for the GLIDE Consortium was born.


As a result, we’ve launched the GLIDE Consortium to support employers in creating inclusive workplaces and building stronger connections with the LGBTQ+ community.

Join GLIDE as a Member

Any employer in Gloucestershire is welcome to join the GLIDE Consortium; membership is currently free.


Meetings will be held every three months, each session hosted by a different member organisation. While there may be a small membership fee to cover running costs in the future, any fees will be kept nominal to ensure the Consortium remains accessible to all.
