Be Part of Something Extraordinary

Pride in Gloucestershire stands at a transformative crossroads. This year, we dared to dream big, bidding to host EuroPride—a bold step that showcased our ambition to represent and celebrate our diverse LGBTQ+ community on an international stage. While we didn’t clinch the title, the process has ignited a fire within us to elevate every event we organize.

This is where you come in.

As a charity, Pride in Gloucestershire is built on three core principles: to Celebrate, Campaign, and Connect. As the team responsible for the Celebrate element, we are redefining what Pride events in our region can achieve. This is not just about impactful marches and unforgettable performances—it’s about creating safe spaces where our community can come together to express joy, be their authentic selves, and celebrate the journey we’ve all been on. But to reach these ambitious heights, we need passionate, talented individuals to join our events team in voluntary roles with significant responsibility.

Why Join Us?

Being part of the Pride in Gloucestershire team is so much more than planning events. You’ll be joining a movement—a collective of people who believe in the power of community, inclusivity, and celebration. Together, we create moments that bring people together, inspire change, and give voice to those who need it most.

This is your chance to:

  • Make a tangible impact. The roles we’re recruiting for are pivotal in shaping the future of Pride in Gloucestershire. Your efforts will directly contribute to the events that inspire thousands.
  • Develop skills and gain experience. From logistics to leadership, event planning to creative design, these roles offer a chance to build new skills or enhance existing ones.
  • Be part of a supportive, dynamic team. Working alongside like-minded individuals you’ll collaborate with people as passionate about making a difference as you are.
  • Leave a legacy. Help us create events that are remembered not just for their joy and vibrancy but for the inclusivity, love, and community they foster.

A Turning Point for Pride

Our recent EuroPride bid was not just a bid; it was a vision for what Pride in Gloucestershire can become. Now, we are determined to bring that vision to life in our own unique way. This is a chance to be at the heart of this evolution—a moment in history where we take the essence of Pride and amplify it for everyone to see.

Whether you’re passionate about event logistics, creative programming, fundraising, or community engagement, there’s a role waiting for your unique talents.

Who We’re Looking For

We need individuals who:

  • Share our passion for celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Bring fresh ideas and energy to the table.
  • Are committed to working as part of a team to achieve incredible things.
  • Value inclusivity, collaboration, and the joy of making a difference.

Ready to Make a Difference?

Joining the Pride in Gloucestershire events team isn’t just about organising extraordinary events—it’s about becoming part of a family. A family that celebrates diversity, creates connection, and fights for equality.

If you’re ready to help us turn our vision into reality, to build events that our community will cherish and remember, then we want to hear from you.

Together, let’s take Pride to the next level.
