Join the Pride in Gloucestershire march as our community stands up to show their voice. This march is much more than a celebration; it's a powerful statement of visibility for our community and our chance to ensure everyone understands the struggles we face and to call to our allies to join us.
The March begins with a gathering in the courtyard of Gloucester Cathedral, where we'll meet and get ready. Of course, there will be plenty of music and entertainment while we gather!
The route is fully guided and will take: Gloucester Cathedral -> Westgate Street -> The Cross ->Southgate Street -> Kimbrose Triangle -> Southgate Street-> Spa Road -> Brunswick Road -> Park Road -> Gloucester Park
Individuals and friend/family groups do not need to register to join; show up on the day!

Gloucester Railway Station is the most convenient station for Gloucester Park. It’s centrally located and just a 10-minute walk to the park.
If you’re travelling from London, catch a direct train from London Paddington to Gloucester, which takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. For those coming from Birmingham, there are frequent direct trains from Birmingham New Street to Gloucester, with a journey time of around 1 hour. If you're travelling from Bristol, hop on a direct train from Bristol Temple Meads, which will get you to Gloucester in about 45 minutes.
Bus (Stagecoach)
From Cheltenham:
The most efficient route from Cheltenham to Gloucester Park is via Stagecoach Service 94. Buses run frequently, and the journey time is about 30 minutes. The bus stops at Gloucester Bus Station, a 10-minute walk to Gloucester Park.

For those travelling from other parts of Gloucestershire, the Stagecoach Gold Service 66 directly connects towns like Stroud, Stonehouse, and other surrounding areas to Gloucester. This service also stops at Gloucester Bus Station, from where it’s just a short walk to the park.
Car
While driving to Gloucester Park is an option, we strongly encourage using public transport wherever possible. With no public parking available at the event site and limited spaces in nearby car parks, public transport offers a more convenient and eco-friendly way to join the celebrations.
Closest Public Car Parks:
If you must drive, here are the closest public car parks where you can leave your vehicle:
Eastgate Shopping Centre Car Park
Kings Walk Car Park
Gloucester Station Car Park
NCP Car Park Gloucester
Public transport is the best way to avoid parking hassles and reduce your carbon footprint, making it easier to fully enjoy the Pride festivities.

We provide a range of accessible toilet facilities to ensure comfort and convenience for all attendees. This includes accessible portable toilets, baby changing facilities, and a staffed Changing Places ReviLoo, which is equipped to meet the needs of people who require additional assistance.

The pride march occurs along through the City Centre, Pedestrianised Areas, and paved roads. The surface is suitable for wheelchairs, although it may be a little bumpy due to the paved areas. We have had many wheelchair users join us along the route in past years with no problems!

The entire park is accessible - taking advantage of the installed hardstanding pathways and ramped access to all areas.
Recognising the diverse needs of our community, we have created a sensory zone designed to provide a quieter, more comfortable space for those who may find the event overwhelming. This zone is equipped with ear defenders and fidget toys to help manage sensory input.
