Join us in supporting the Pride in Gloucestershire team as they take on an exciting and adventurous challenge. Our very own Chairperson Richard Stevens, Treasurer Ginny Hodges, Volunteer Manager Hawys Jones, and K&F Co-Lead Pup Scottii are gearing up for a "Pride Paddle" to raise funds for Pride in Gloucestershire. But this isn’t just any paddle—it's a fierce challenge not to be the one to end up dunked in Gloucester Docks!
On the day Richard, Ginny, Scottii, and Hawys will hit the waters of Gloucester Docks on their Stand-up Paddle Boards (SUPs), Canoes, or Sit-on-top Kayaks. For Richard, Ginny and Scottii, this will be a thrilling first-time experience on the water, while Hawys, our seasoned expert, will be putting her skills to the test against her beginner teammates.
Who will glide gracefully across the water and take an unexpected dip? Will the beginners surprise us all, or will our expert reign supreme? No matter the outcome, one thing is sure: it's all in the name of fun, community, and fundraising for Pride in Gloucestershire 2024.
Every penny raised from this event will go directly towards supporting Pride in Gloucestershire's ongoing efforts to celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity, and create safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community in our region. With Pride in Gloucestershire taking place on Saturday, September 14th, will our trio have even dried their socks in time?!
So, whether you're rooting for Richard, Ginny, Scottii or Hawys, your support will make waves! Please donate generously and help us reach our fundraising goal. Together, we can make a real difference.
